What percentage do you require for a deposit?

We require a 50% deposit to secure your date. We require a refundable $1,000 damage deposit at the time of booking.

How much parking is available on-site?

We have 75 parking spaces available, including two dedicated spots for shuttle parking. Please reach out to our team to discuss parking and transportation options.

Do we need to hire a wedding planner?

Yes, a wedding planner is required to ensure your celebration flows seamlessly from start to finish. We provide a venue manager to work with your planner to deliver all the details.

Do you have other offerings in addition to the wedding venue?

Yes, we have multiple packages and add-ons to customize your celebration with guided hunts, magical rehearsal dinners, and so much more. Reach out to our team to help plan your perfect event.

The house itself is not available for events, but its timeless beauty provides a stunning backdrop for your day.

Do you offer packages and memberships?

Yes! Add to the adventure with guided upland hunts, English-style pheasant shoots, corporate event options and memberships available. Reach out to our team and we will help determine the package that best suits your needs.

What’s included in the hunt experience?

Our hunt package, priced at $1,500, accommodates up to three shooters. Morning hunts include coffee, a round of five-stand shooting, and a catered lunch to follow. Local beers and a bourbon bar are provided at the end of each shoot. Afternoon hunts feature a round of five-stand, accompanied by heavy hors d’oeuvres and a seltzer and bourbon bar to close the day.

What type of license is required to hunt?

For Virginia residents, a state or county resident hunting license is required to hunt game birds. Nonresidents have the option of a state nonresident hunting license or a special nonresident shooting preserve license, which is valid only within licensed preserve boundaries and is available for $23. Let us know your needs, and our team is happy to help guide you through this process.

Private Events

Can we bring in outside vendors?

Yes, we welcome outside vendors to help make your day uniquely yours.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

No, alcohol packages are available for purchase. Reach out to our team for more information.

What time does the event need to end?

Local ordinance requires all music to be turned off by 10 PM.

Do you provide a tent, or should we arrange one through an outside vendor?

We offer a range of tent sizes including a 30x75 tent available for rent. If you need a different size, you’re welcome to coordinate with an outside vendor to fit your needs.

Do you offer event activities?

Yes! From clay shooting and guided hunts to Land Rover driving experiences and cocktail parties, we can fully customize your event to your group's preferences. Reach out to our team to start planning your experience.
